Room was very clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful. Only negative was banging of doors early am by neighbouring guests

Really cosy
Really lovely. A perfect, affordable, no frills stay. I paid just a little extra for the en suite than a shared bathroom and it was definitely worth it. Really cosy bed and friendly staff.

Pleasant B+B good value for money
Nice B+B very central. Cleanliness was great. Only thing we commented on was there wasnt enough toliet roll in the bathroom. Could do with a spare one in there.Nice touch with the toiletries and tea and coffee and biscuits. Although the cups could of been bigger.Nice view overlooking the river too. We will definitely stay again.

Damp issues/Very smelly bathroom
The room and particularly the bathroom smelt terribly of drains and what was obviously a major ventilation /damp problem. Stong air fresheners in the room were horrible and did not mask the problem just made it more horrible. Otherwise room was ok , small bit tatty, reception odd insisting on photo ID though room was paid for. If you have an option to stay elsewhere I'd say do that.

Cheap and extremely cheerful.
Perfect location at a perfect price. Very comfortable single room with a good sized en suite bathroom. Lovely girl on reception helped to make my short stay a very enjoyable one. Would definitely return here.

Really good location, staff were marvelous, clean & tidy if a little tired in some areas. Renovations do seem to be happening with the breakfast room being out of commission due to its renovation being in progress. So breakfast is currently unavailable although there are several alternatives within a few minutes walk. More than happy to stay here again.

Room was comfortable but fixtures, fittings and decor a little tired. However, it was clean. Unfortunately my room was above the reception and kitchen, so i was woken at 6am by staff talking rather loudly. Breakfast was great, for £9.95 there was a buffet of cereals, fruit, buns, toast, yoghurts, juice, teas and coffee as well as a full english of sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms and beans. Fab!
