"Parking is very easy in adjacent Cabot circus and free! Very convenient for the Old Market Area. Staff were great especially at breakfast. Some of the carpets are starting to show some wear but the hotel is generally well kept. "

The private parking was expensive, but only a short walk from the hotel and we knew the car was safe and secure. All in all, a wonderful stay at The Gainsborough, will definitely return; was a wonderful experience. "

"The hotel its self is set on the banks of the river, access to the car park is very narrow and the car park it self is very tight when a number of vehicles are parked. Hotel Staff - very friendly. Rooms - very vlean, tidy and comfortable. Food - evening meal: good selection on the menu"
