"Beautiful hostel. Makes for a nice home base. Very central to a lot of shopping, but still on a quiet street. The train is close, so day excursions to tourist hotspots are extremely easy."

"This hostel beats any hotel/ hostel I’ve stayed it. It is well worth the value. Lockers are spacious, staff is friendly and hard working, the amenities like breakfast, towels, slippers and laundry are a great touch. beds are spacious and comfy and I like that there was a designated smoking area on the premises. The only thing is the internet is a bit wonky but overall amazing stay! "

"Stayed for a few nights, coming back late at night and leaving early in the mornings. The private room was clean and the shared areas and bathrooms were also clean. I did wish the private room had a lockable door, but lockers are provided for free. The hostel was nice and quiet at night and I didn't wake to loud noise while sleeping. Necessities for shower are provided and towels can be rented cheaply if desired. I did wish the water got a little bit hotter, but it was warm and the pressure was...

"The best capsule hotel I've stayed at.Cozy and private, nice staff, comfortable temperature and good showers. Easy luggage storage before and after stay. Excellent location for being nearby a lot of food and fun, but off a small street so it is not loud and is very peaceful. I would stay here again and recommend highly. "Good wifi. It's pretty convenient to train and bus lines (the 28 City bus picks up across the street and the Hankyu train line is around the corner) and it's about 10 minutes from the bridge. Note: the breakfast is served at a cafe around the corner, but only from 9-11, so you may need to schedule your day accordingly (or don't sign up for breakfast and plan on eating elsewhere). "Very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is some sweet bread. They set out options for pillows from you to choose from. It's a healthy walking distance from Kyoto station with light luggage and the the Nishiki Market area but far enough that it's quiet. Front desk staff was nice. The kitchen and common area downstairs are clean and fine. There is one washer and one dryer and a clothesline on the roof.
