Decent hostel for meeting people, which is rare in Japan. Kitchen and common area could be bigger, but they likely want you to spend time in the bar downstairs. Kitchen had everything you needed like oil/herbs etc. beds had good privacy with curtains and were reasonably comfortable, with plug and light for each bunk. Only 2 showers per floor sometimes meant a little wait. Place was clean and staff were friendly.
