Interesting hotel and our room was astounding (we stayed in 102). Breakfast was a choice of Japanese or Western style, different every day and served on a large wooden platter.
The hotel is opposite the Imperial Palace Gardens, we'll situated for busses into the city center or the subway for trips further afield.
The staff were helpful and friendly but we didn't see many of them. The hotel has a strange layout, you enter at street level into a huge atrium and there's a desk but nobody was ever at it - you had to go down the stairs to another desk - and this wasn't always staffed so most of the time we just went in and out without encountering anyone.
The hotel advertises a bar but forget about having a relaxing drink on the roof terrace when you get back at the end of the day - the bar was never open.
