"Friendly staff, clean & comfortable room ideal for a one night stay. Restaurant looked lovely but we didn’t have time to try it as arrived late, but would definitely return as the pub is situated on a lovely little village with lots of parking."

"What a lovely inn! Our room was big and bright and we popped open a window for a little breeze while sleeping. The bathroom was recently redone and very nice. All the meals, including take away sandwiches for lunch, were fabulous and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful! Highly recommend!"

"Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧 "

"I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. "
