"So - this isn't a B&B, nor is it The Ritz. But Jade gave us the most lovely welcome, check in and parking was a breeze and we had an amazing meal at the pub next door. Great value and a perfect stop off point for our visit to Durham Uni. The room was cozy, but clean. Jade provided milk each day for tea/coffee and nice shower with products provided and lovely towels. If I had one suggestion it would be to perhaps change the single bed mattresses. One was creaky/squeaky and the other smaller one was a bit flat and lacked support. Otherwise, a lovely stay."

"Internet available. Good tv. Only downside was having to go through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom. Curtain rather than net in bathroom would have been good but overall very good. Lots of hot water available. Welcome basket of granola, bottle of apple juice and tortillas. Lovely village with two dog friendly pubs"

"I liked our stay at Belmont Hose. The house has large rooms. The garden is a good size for kids to play. I enjoyed sitting in the kitchen whilst cooking. We went to the beach and we drove to Leeming Bar and took the trian to Leyburn, which was lovely. The supermarkets are 25 minutes away. NB. There are two wasp/bees nest in front of the property. One is above the dinning room window and the other is above the living room window. They need to be removed ASAP, as bees were entering through the floor boards into the bedroom opposite the toilet."
