Terrible Customer support
We informed Host and Stay the day we arrived the toilet down stairs was not working. We called them each day we were there to get resolution. They came to look at the toilet the next day in the afternoon and yet they did not fix the toilet. They made no attempt the remaining 2 days we were there. When we left 2 days later, the toilet had not been fixed. Host and Stay has been non-responsive as to offering us a refund.

A few tweaks and it would be perfect
First impressions not good due to long grass and weeds against front wall and do No freezer box in fridge. We weren’t expecting a freezer compartment as not listed. Only one bedside lamp in main bedroom Only comfortable seats for three people in sitting room. Not a problem for us two Second bedroom inadequate for another couple no storage, again no problem for us. Couldn’t use allocated parking due to steep steps to house having no handrail QR info ok for us but many older people would be unable/reluctant to use Hob didn’t look clean

Late notice stay
Booked at very short notice due to a late change in plan for a family event. Great location and lovely place to stay and was in spotless condition despite the short notice. Parking a little tight for a large car but no problem really - and the car park is easy enough to find if have a quick look on google maps beforehand. Parking in Osmotherley is hard to come by so the space available is very handy.
