We were lucky to be placed in a room that had a view of Edinburgh castle since the back of the hotel was under construction. In terms of cleanliness, it was fairly clean besides a small cockroach we found when eating food in our room. We had complimentary drinks which we decided to get on the day of check out and they said the bar was not open yet and the coffee machine was not working. We weren't given any alternatives. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay."
