We found Jasmine Cottage very well setup and comfortable for our stay, with Angela quick to respond when a few queries for us came up. Local amenities extremely handy, in addition to being a well placed location for trips into York city centre."

"Colton Loft was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities that one would wish, situated in a beautiful quiet village with the helpful host living just next door. The 3 local pubs Plum and Partridge, Carlton Inn and the Fauconberg were all very good. Exploring York was also easy with the use of the excellent Rawcliff Bar park and ride."

"We stayed at the Cornmill for my father in laws 80th and was quite suprised we were the first !! It was perfect for what we wanted. The whole house suited all 11 of us that came and the dog. The games room and hot tub was perfect for the children it kept them all very occupied, the library at the top of the landing was amazing and caught the eye of the readers in the family ! "High Oaks Grange is a beautiful property with a very high standard of fittings. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay with old friends. There were plenty of things to do locally and we loved the area. One highlight was a meal cooked for us in the Grange by Chef Dan Graham. We would thoroughly recommend him. as would we would highly recommend The Grange for a large group. We hope to return in the future."

"The Sty is a wonderful conversion. It’s spacious and has everything you need, including some lovely extras like slippers and dressing gowns; the latter we didn’t need, but a nice touch. Being able to do our washing in the middle of a 5–week multi-stop trip was very convenient, especially with the nice big drying rack and iron and board. "This is an elegant and comfortable country house in a tiny village just outside York. It has two large, elegant sitting rooms and a panelled dining room, perfect for formal dinners. We loved the house, its rambling corridors, comfortable bedrooms and elegant and fascinating objects and furniture. Perfect for a country house weekend."
