"Location worked well for us. Small room with en-suite. Out the back for a country pub. Ample parking nearby. Room not great at keeping noise out - could hear footsteps overhead from residents upstairs and voices carried across the count yard late at night. As it was warm needed to windows open so more easily disturbed by noise. The bed was super creaky too, which was annoying and disturbing in the dead of night! "The property could be excellent but the the cleanliness and upkeep is poor. It looks like it needs decorating and some maintenance is needed. There was no cooking equipment and limited cutlery. We have enjoyed our stay but feel let down by the upkeep of the property"

Local dining at the Hideout Bar excellent food and breakfast just a 5 min walk away . Good for the open air theatre cricket club and peasholme park .
