"Excellent stay again from the evening reception team at this hotel where I stay regularly as a guest when doing voluntary unpaid work in Yorkshire. Only problem is the morning reception team who misgender trans and non binary people at check out with male pronouns "

"An excellent stay, great location overlooking the North Bay, but a short walk via the church to the South Bay. A lovely clean, bright and recently decorated hotel. Friendly and efficient staff and an excellent, well cooked breakfast. We would definitely return. "

"The building is old so you had the normal creaks, bathroom was clean, bed and bedding really comfortable and clean. View was amazing "

"A lovely boutique hotel and restaurant. Beautifully decorated and equipped room (Aspen) and fabulous staff. Great dinner and breakfast. Excellent dining area overlooking a landscaped garden, with lots of extra seating on surrounding patios. Lovely small heated outdoor pool and adjacent sauna, which unfortunately we didn’t have time to try out. Maybe next time!"

"Modern, fresh, well maintained hotel. Clean, quiet, spacious rooms with plenty of charging stations and outlets. Super nice bath with massive soaking tub. Excellent on-site restaurant. What is most noteworthy is the very professional, well trained and delightful staff in both the hotel and the restaurant! Would stay at Sandburn Hall again and would recommend it to a friend. "

"I have given five stars all round as it was well deserved. The bed was very comfortable, there was a wine cooler/fridge and a safe in the room, plenty of hanging and drawer space in the triple wardrobe. The room was much better than we had expected. "
