Quirky b&b with a wonderful little cafe downstairs. Service not the fastest but food very good. Only quibble was the very low beams in the top floor bedroom and the window didn’t open very well.

Lovely place & Staff

Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay here. Staff are very friendly and helpful and our room was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast is cooked fresh and was tasty even catered for my gluten free wife! Would recommend and will definitely stay again

Great stay

We had a one night stop over. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room very clean, bed comfortable. In a quiet place. Plenty of tea and coffee. We were given a parking permit which was a nice touch. Arrived late afternoon took a walk down to the esplanade which was lovely lit up.

Excellent 2 night break in Rowntree Lodge. Made very welcome on arrival by Claire. All staff created a very friendly easy going atmosphere. Spacious room recently decorated. Excellent food. Would stay again
