3 out of 5
You pay a lot for the location, I estimate that it doubles the cost of a room compared to an inland hotel. The original building has been added to recently by the looks of it and it is now very large and doesn't look attractive from the outside. The parking is difficult and not well signed. There was a full skip at the side of the hotel with food in it and consequently seagulls.
We were there over the bank holiday weekend and there were two weddings on the Saturday, which as a normal visitor doesn't make it very relaxing or feel special.
The places doesn't feel as exclusive as you'd imagine for the price and the pool is very small, but the hot tubs is lovely.
We only ate breakfast in the hotel, which was nice, but the cooked options are executed well (limp bacon, pale sausage, you have to make your own toast).…You pay a lot for the location, I estimate that it doubles the cost of a room compared to an inland hotel.
