We were on the top (third) floor. No lift, s, as an 80 year old, carrying a case up three flights of stairs was difficult - no one around to help. We were at the front of the building overlooking a view of the sea that was absolutely stunning. this was the redeeming factor along with it's proximity to the beach.Other than that there was nothing about the Hotel that warranted a 5 star rating, More like a very good 3 star for us. The weather was extremely hot and there was no air conditioning, just a single tower fan - which was insufficient to help much. The bedroom was a reasonable size but had sloping ceilings (more than a few head bumps! The least favourable feature was the shower room/ toilet which was about 7' square, It had a skylight that would not open and some mould spots in the shower. The house was clean throughout but paintwork and furnishings needed freshening up. The breakfast was good and staff were pleasant. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel as a very good 3 star, but not as a 5 star.
All staff very helpful and location and views great

Our experience of this hotel was not 5 star. The best things about the hotel are location and staff. Very close to the beach, beautiful views, 15/20 minutes walk to the train station and town centre.
Our ground floor room was very disappointing, small, poorly maintained, dirty carpet ,needed a good clean in the bathroom, black mold in shower, poorly fitting curtains. Uncomfortable bed especially the pillows. Pre ordered breakfast was ok but again not in our opinion 5 star. There is no evening meal service, however , there is a small bar area.
The Anacapri Hotel in Falmouth is an absolute gem for a coastal getaway. The location is incredibly convenient, sitting just opposite Gyllyngvase Beach for instant seaside access, while still being a reasonable distance walk right into the town centre and harbour.
Everything throughout the hotel was nice and clean, with rooms that made for a truly comfortable stay. It’s a fantastic, stress-free base that balances beautiful sea views with easy access to all of Falmouth's shops and restaurants!
Breakfast surprisingly poor for such a hotel. Had to commit to a choice of food the day before and when it arrived it was very sub standard. Dried eggs, bacon and hash browns etc
A pleasant English seaside hotel. Spacious room with sea view. But it did feel somewhat overpriced; there was no fridge in the room, breakfast had to be ordered the evening before and was not freshly cooked, the decor needed refreshing.
Excellent holiday for me & my husband, very clean & cosy environment where I can see the see view. Walking distance to Falmouth town centre as well as got 10% off at harbour fish & chips place with fresh fish. Love the walk along the sea walk to town too, feel the fresh breeze and comfortable environment too. Very friendly staff in the hotel, brilliant breakfast too. Will recommend this hotel to everyone. I will scored it 100%

The time we stayed in the hotel was ok.great for the beach and not far from town .The bed was very big and comfortable, clean sheets and good duvet, there was a few cobwebs dangling down from the ceiling above bed near window .which my grandaughter saw 1st and did want to sleep on that side of the bed in case there was a spider..the bathroom was a good size and shower and toilet.
Breakfast was great plenty to choose from cereals, toast, jams, marmalade, fruit juices, different milks to choose from too.fruit ,yogurts and choice of cooked breakfast from a menu, given to you night before to choose for breakfast next day. Bacon, eggs fried or scrambled poached, sausages, fish.really good choice which was lovely. Tea and coffee pleantful too.i would diffinately stay again . Very convenient 👌 place to stay. So near the beach and a carpark too for guest . Very pleasant stay.

Paint needed on the wall.
Cobwebs on chandelier and ceiling.
Had to wait 10mins at reception when I arrived as no one was there.
Receptionist was pleasant and helpful when he arrived.
Breakfast was fine.
Bedroom was clean.
Parking ok.
Staff were particularly welcoming and accommodating. Location was stunning - could see and hear the sea from my room. Plenty of safe off-road parking. Homely feel.

The position of the hotel was good for the beach, but quite a long way from the town centre. Parking is good and appeared to be adequate for the numbers in the hotel. Our room was quite small, but perfectly adequate for our needs, and spotless with regard to cleanliness. The bed was large, and somewhat firm for our liking, but no other complaints.
Tea/coffee was plentiful and obtained from the reception area, along with water if required. Breakfast is booked the previous evening along with anticipated timing, and this worked well with the food being freshly cooked upon arrival in the dining room, and with no complaints on quantity or quality, and the staff were more than helpful. There is a small bar and lounge area that could get a bit cramped but there is plenty of outside seating if the weather allows. One relatively downside is that the hotel has many levels and stairs which may cause difficulties for those with mobility issues, and I did not see any lift options to overcome this.
We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel as a good mid range option.

Nice large room, excellent breakfast and staff lovely
We’ve stayed at Anacapri several times and never been disappointed. It’s perfectly situated for both beach and town, easy parking on-site and a good, hearty breakfast too. It’s always my first choice of places to stay when we visit our son at the University.
Very highly recommended.
