"Very nice stay"

"Tend to use this hotel and normally book direct but had a Hotels.com voucher to use, hotel is a great location for shopping, dining and only a 20-30 minute tube ride into central London which is ideal for visiting for events etc if not from the area - hotel breakfast is great, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are cleaned well but do suggest slight maintenance upkeep needed but not a massive concern as still modern but worth up keeping - great overall stay for distance travellers to the area that want the best of everything "

"All the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of things. The heating in my room did not seem to be working but the reception gave me a little radiator which worked quite well"

"The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly and we managed to check in earlier than expected as the rooms happened to be ready. Definitely stay again. "

"We like this hotel as it is reasonably priced, has a 24hr gym, half decent pool, sauna and steam room. It is also 2 minutes away from the DLR (docklands light railway) giving easy access to central London and the west end. We always book parking through 'Your Parking Space' If you do this you can cut that car parking costs in half although you will have a 5 minute walk to the hotel itself."

"Staff very friendly at reception Classic traditional ‘cruise ship’ style as expected Impeccably clean Bathroom very dated, infitting with a ship, shower only and extremely heavy door dangerous when having children in the room with you. Couldnt prop bathroom door open and no working fan in the bathroom for stream. Reason for low score was complete lack of sleep due to room being uncomfortably warm the entire time. Staff attempted to assist by providing two fans however as window doesnt open this just circulated the warm air around. When speaking to reception they advised they had another room to move us to however said they knocked on our door at 11am to offer us it and as we didnt answer they gave it to someone else! Hard to believe anyone goes to London to stay in their room until 11am and wait to be offered another room plus they has our emails and phone numbers to try to contact us also but didnt attempt to. Breakfast was fine but really poor set up, long queues at hot drinks station and hot food just due to poor layout noone could access until person at front has completely moved out of the way. This could be fixed easily by the staff walking through the setup as guests do. Overall we were offered an upgrade on a return stay however lack of sleep ruined our weekend and due to that unfortunately we wouldnt return"
