Welcoming Hotel

Posted 13-Apr-2016
Pros: The food in the Italian Restaurant was excellent. The service was quick with attentive and friendly waitresses.
Cons: The instructions on the use of the heating.
This was a very welcoming Hotel, with friendly and attentive staff. The choice of food is excellent, as is the quality. The waitresses were efficient, the service was quick - all in all a very good experience in the Italian restaurant. The on-site facilities are also excellent and open for those early birds or late comers. Overall a great experience.

One Night Only

Posted 14-Mar-2016
Pros: Good service, decor and the ability to find a car parking space.
Cons: Breakfast could have been discussed when booking in.
Location: Location good for us as our son was moving into Wallsend from Yorkshire
Stayed in a room on the Upper Deck which was very good. There was a wedding party taking place but the noise was not an issue and ended early. The reception staff, starbucks staff and breakfast staff were warm and friendly. Checking in and out was quick and painless.

Very friendly hotel

Lovely hotel with great facilities. The staff were helpful and the hotel had a very friendly feel to it, which you don't often get. On the downside my credit card was hacked after using it to pay online for my stay.

Nice hotel, just off the main road

Posted 21-Feb-2016
Pros: Quiet and comfortable room
Cons: Double bed was actually two singles pushed together so could have been more comfortable.
Location: Nowhere really to walk to but ok if travelling about by car.
Pleasant hotel. Friendly staff and despite function on nice and quiet room. No view or anywhere to walk to but ok if travelling by car as easily reached off the main road.

Great hotel for visiting surroundings areas by car

Posted 15-Feb-2016
Stayed 8 nights with a 3 year old. . Very comfortable hotel . Good size standard room with double and sofa bed . A bit hot as Windows only open slightly. TV reception not great and lack of channels. Reception staff excellent. Vicki and Anne very efficient and helpful throughout stay. Pub grub ok but quite expensive . Starbucks within hotel , Rob and Mat a great team. Would definitely return and free gym and spa facilities a bonus.

Nice hotel but not very scenic

Posted 01-Feb-2016
Pros: The bed was comfortable and had a nice bathroom.Didn't use the swimming pool etc but it looked nice.
Cons: Some staff could be a little more friendy. Extra pillows should be in the wardrobe. More tv stations would be nice. Drinks were very expensive.
Location: Don't really know the area apart from Silverlink Shopping Centre
We found the hotel ok. Some staff were nicer than others. We were told that we weren't allowed breakfast because we hadn't paid and luckily we had the receipt with us to prove we did. She said" that's fine", no apology for making us feel stupid. Could of been a bit more pleasant. Plenty of choice for breakfast and it was very nice. The room was nice, a bit dusty but ok. Large tv but hardly any channels, maybe you have to pay for more.Outside view was a horrible huge flat roof, couldn't see past it. Asked for extra pillows because only gave us 2 flat ones.Had hardly any sleep because of music then noise till after 4 in the morning.

Nice Hotel Central to everything

Posted 17-Jan-2016
Pros: the Bar, The resturant all of the food was very good
Cons: nothing
Location: easy access to city via buses and metro, nice walk accross the road.
We enjoyed staying at the hotel, the staff were warm and friendly, special mention for Rob in Starbucks, despite the weather he brought sunshine to us very morning. Laura in the resturant went out of her way to make our evening special.
