Our room was in the original part of the hall and had character and charm, with the wooden shutters on the windows, wonky floors and cornicing. The room was clean and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. If you like modern buildings and new decorations then this is not the place for you. The building could do with a little updating in areas, but that could take away from its charm."

"Great hotel, friendly helpful staff, room was very clean and a good size. Bar area was nice to sit in only disappointment was no Food available on Saturday night due to staff shortages. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Plenty of parking spaces."
