"We loved our stay here, all staff were really friendly and helpful, despite being down on staff numbers due to illness. We enjoyed our meal and great pints in the bar too. The room was great for the amount we paid, the only thing we could think of that could be better was the shower, it wasn’t very powerful, but to be honest we would still give five stars as we thought it was a lovely stay"

"Nice room, albeit quite small, overlooking the main square. The breakfast was very good and all the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Parking is on the square outside the property, come early on a Saturday as the square gets very busy."

"Westburn Cottage was a lovely converted barn, offering all the home comforts you could wish for, along with stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales.There are some beautiful walks right from the cottage, and it’s ideally located for exploring the area’s spectacular waterfalls, historic market towns and fascinating caves. Wherever we went, there was always a lovely coffee shop nearby to enjoy a well-deserved coffee and slice of cake!We had a lovely holiday, exploring the Yorkshire Dales and enjoyed lots of walking. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and some of our favourite places included Hardraw Force, Aysgarth Falls, Hawes and Malham Cove, just to name a few.A fantastic base for exploring this lovely part of Yorkshire."
