"My partner and I recently had a wonderful stay at Victoria House. We were warmly greeted by Jan and she made us feel very welcome throughout. We also loved meeting her dogs, Oscar and Honey! The room was very comfortable and the house is in a great location. We used the regular local buses to visit nearby towns and to visit Snowdon. We had a great time in Caernarfon and if we visit again, we will certainly stay at Victoria House."

The review format asked for echo-friendliness so had to mark down a little for the use of small plastic bottles in the bathroom and the individual packaged portions of butter, jam, sugar and salt at breakfast. It's a difficult balance between freshness and disposable containers. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The location is great. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. They gave us good advice on the surrounding trails. The room offered beautiful views, was clean and well maintained. The property had a wonderful garden where you can relax after a long day walking. There was a nice lounge area as well where you could watch TV, listen to music or grab a hot or cold drink; some snacks available to purchase. The breakfast was ok. There was a choice of eggs on toast or...

"Week’s holiday with our dog. Cosy little cottage in a lovely little village with plenty of good walks from the door or nearby. Positives included the excellent welcome basket with lots of lovely goodies, kitchen was well supplied and they also provided dog bowls and toys. It was in a good location near the beach. Cafe on the seafront, plus fish & chip shop and Indian nearby. As the hosts state this is only suitable for 2 adults, but it’s comfortable and very clean."
