"The TEN-YU was an exceptional experience. The staff recieve you as if you just arrived home. The whole ambience is of relaxation and de stressing. Enjoyed a fabulous aromatherapy massage at the onsite AnSpa, which was in the most serene location. The Tepanyaki dinner was something else!! Beautifully prepared starters and delicious cuts of the best Kobe beef. We were able to unwind immediately from a long trip and made it a stay i will never forget!!!"

"So relaxing and everything was great! The best part of our trip ! Onsen was awesome and private, the meals were A(+\]. Just take a taxi ( we used the Go app) to and from the station. We walked uphill to get there, but streets narrow and we were a little concerned with the cars driving by."

"This recently renovated hotel is very comfortable and absolutely beautiful. Rooms are a good size and well equipped with slippers, towels, toiletries, bottled water, tea and coffee, an electric kettle, fridge, etc. Tea, coffee and other beverages are also available in the lobby next to the comfortable lounge area which overlooks a beautiful garden. I enjoyed use of the on-site onsen (separate facilities for men and women) and the delicious buffet style dinner and breakfast. I appreciated the hotel shuttle ride to Gora station the morning I did the Hakone Loop using my Hakone Free Pass. I highly recommend this place as a peaceful, comfortable place to stay for solo travelers, couples and families."

"We had a lovely stay at Musashino Bekkan. The place felt very welcoming and the staffs are all friendly. Our experience at this ryokan is complete opposite to all the negative reviews this place gets. The place itself is slightly outdated, but that is part of the charm of this place - as if you are transported back in time. The onsens were lovely and we had a private one in ours. The meals were delicious especially the dinner course and we were able to request a kid friendly meal for our son. Wish we could stay longer and experience more this ryokan can offer. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!"
