Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. The rooms are to a high standard, despite being a little on the small side. However, the addition of a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains more than made up for the rooms size.

The hotel is very central in Champéry but what makes this hotel so good is the staff. Their helpfulness and friendliness should be the aim of every other hotel staff - I can’t speak highly enough about them all.

The hotel is situated a stone throw from the La Flegere cable car (and ski rental) and the free bus routes to the other slopes and Chamonix central (less than 10 min). Three restaurants are nearby including 2 with afternoon sun for an apres ski drink. The hotel is a mix of swiss rustic and Skandinavian clean (as in design). The staff (especially Maggie and another woman at reception) were very friendly and super helpful in all aspects of the stay (restaurant bookings etc.) Highly recommended at...

The title say's it all. Our best holiday yet ! My holiday tips: 1. don't bother the hassle of hiring a car at Geneva airport. get a shuttle bus that will take you to the hotel front door. We used albybus and it costs 47 euros each way. 2. Get a 2 or 3 day saver pass (you'll save money) 3. If the weather is looking very good, the first trip is by cable car up to Aiguillie du Midi. (superb) Whilst there and if the budget will stretch, you MUST go across the glaciers on the small cable cars...

A great location, less than 5 minute slow walk to the centre of Chamonix. The room are very comfortable and the room I started in had a view straight into Mont Blanc. The bar was ok, although the beer was very expensive and was ‘Carlsberg’ and the glass was half full of froth. Bit that’s being picky, would definitely stay again

Which area of Morzine, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France is best to stay in for convenient parking?
The Morzine village centre is generally the best area for convenient parking, particularly around the Tourist Office, Place de la Poste, Pleney, and Joux Plane areas. This central hub is where Morzine's main underground and central car parks are concentrated, offering easy access to your vehicle and the village's amenities.
For those prioritising the simplest parking access, the Town centre, including Rue du Bourg, Place de l'Église, and Place de la Poste, is an excellent choice due to its proximity to the main public car parks and blue-zone street parking. Alternatively, the Pleney side is useful if you prefer one of the main underground car parks near the ski lift and central village facilities. If you don't mind being a little less central but desire easier access to longer-stay parking, the Route de la Plagne presents a practical option.
