"Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. "We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"The Old Weigh House is a highly specified and beautiful property with offroad parking. It is located in the charming old town area of Kirkby Lonsdale, within easy walking of the river and the town's independent shops, pubs with local brews, and excellent restaurants. Farther afield, KL is an ideal spot from which to explore the Dales of Cumria, Lancashire and Yorkshire. We would definitely visit The Old Weigh House again."

"Internally the property was as photographed however after phoning the first morning to let management know there was a fly issue- some bug spray would be helpful so our food prep would be easier ,there was giant hogweed down the access path making access dangerous for me as a cancer patient as it is a highly toxic plant ...the garden had not had the grass cut in a very long time making it not useable -and no hot water was the icing on the cake ....nothing was rectified they said they would be...

I had never heard of VRBO before and i will most definantely not be using you again. Why would you let vendors like this smear your name . Lost 176 as couldnt get in the building ! "
