However, the waiter cleared a table for us efficiently upon request. The setting was perfect for our outdoor weekend: rapidly flowing river outside our window and lovely views into the valley. The room was comfortable and spacious fitting myself, my husband and grown son adequately."

"The property is located in an excellent location, right upon Lake Windermere itself. The staff are all friendly and the breakfast is good. The beds are firm and uncomfortable for me but that might be a personal preference. "
