. We had the suite which is made up of two interconnected rooms. It was ideal for our three children. Awesome pool and breakfast. Slight issue when arrived regarding bedding but one phone call to reception and this was fixed. Staff couldn’t do enough for you."

Wine a bit pricey though. We had a double aspect room overlooking the Wye - view beautiful especially with the autumn colours. "Warm welcome from reception on arrival. We parked in the rear car park for £10 extra. The hotel is huge with a warren of corridors. We were a party of 3, myself & my husband and we were travelling with our grown-up son. I had booked two ‘classic’ rooms therefore it was slightly odd to get our rooms only to discover that my son had been allocated the room with the super king bed and we got given a room with a standard double bed!
