A nice small hotel in a great and lively location. It's situated in the center of a 5 block long pedestrian zone, with lots of restaurants within a two minute walk. A potential downside is that the street is relatively loud until late at night. My wife and I enjoyed this, but if you won't be aware that we could clearly hear it in our street facing room.
Good location. Quiet. Clean and comfortable but small room. Had a double room for a solo traveller. Bathroom needed updating - the shower was very small and decor a bit aged. The air con could not be adjusted. The lift was very slow. Plenty of nice breakfast places nearby as €18 per person is quite expensive. No english tv channels other than CNN.
I booked the hotel after searching for recommended boutique hotels in Paris. I prefer smaller hotels over the larger chains that can be a little faceless. The hotel was great, amazingly modern design and really funky. We upgraded on arrival to the Galileo room which was a little larger and had a really cool enclosed sleeping pod. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody.
The hotel is very close to the Louvre. That was a major plus. We were within walking distance to most of the major sites. A Metro stop was conveniently nearby.
the room itself was clean but very small. The bathroom was spacious.
We didn't book the option that included breakfast. That was offered when we arrived at 22 euros per day per person. Ouch. We declined. There were plenty of pastry shops and cafes in the area.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, especially the concierge.
Overall it was a good stay.
No, there is no lift. Nor is there spa, swimming pool, gym, restaurant or car park. That's because it's part of a 16th Century church. If you want those things, this is not the place for you. You probably don't want any kind of church.
However, if you value things like history, character, antique furniture, stone spiral staircases, wooden beams in the ceiling, breakfast in bed and buttresses flying above your bed (we stayed in that very room) it's pretty hard to beat.
It's in a fantastic location, just a few minutes from the Pompidou, Hotel de Ville and Notre Dame, a 15-minute stroll to the Louvre. And being slap in the Marais means excellent bars, restaurants and nightlife just a few steps away.
While the stairs may get a bit much after a full day tramping round Paris, a couple of drinks next door soon ease the pain. Then you can wind your way upstairs to a room that always gets a little "wow" moment

The room was small but great for a solo traveler on a budget. The room and shower was clean. A small safe was provided to secure personal belongings.
I couldn't find a waste bin in my room but that was only a minor inconvenience.
The hotel is directly in front of the Bonne Nouvelle metro station which makes travel throughout Paris very convenient. I recommend that first time travelers to Paris download the 'Visit Paris by Metro' app by RATP to help them travel easily even without Wi-Fi or data.

Our stay was excellent, the hotel was easy to find, located between two metro stops and well placed within the city itself. The staff were always lovely and welcoming. Check in and out were simple, with everyone being very fluent in English. The room was very modern and well decorated. We'd recommend to anyone!

Exclusive boutiques line Rue St-Honoré and Rue de Rivoli, and a shiny modern shopping mall occupies the old market of Les Halles.
