What a fantastic 4 night stay, Jo was the perfect host The room was ideal with a fantastic sea view. Breakfast was the best we have had at a B&B & we were not even getting hungry again until mid afternoon. Ideal location for walkers of the Cornish coastal path.

Lovely b&b
We had a lovely stay, the b&b is in the perfect location only a couple of miles from Looe and walking distance to the coastal path. Jo made us feel very welcome and the property was clean with extra covid procedures in place. Would definately recommend and will be booking again.

A pleasant stay
We had a few days away and Bucklawren Farm was a good base. Jo gave us a lovely breakfast each day and the bed was comfortable.

Booked on the strength of the last 2 reviews. The farm did not disappoint. Room clean and comfortable. Bathroom compact but everything that you need. Nice Toiletries too. I had 3 nights there another couple I saw had been there a week. They said they too would recommend the farm. Breckfasts were lovely very good quality ingredients and cooked just as I liked. Very fresh fruit salad was available too. Nothing I could fault all good

A wonderful stay! Jo is very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. The view from the property is beautiful. It is a bit of a hike to get down to Looe proper, but that was expected and I love hiking. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Will definitely return.

Great B&B
Great place to stay, great views of Looe town, great food, great staff, great room... we really liked this hotel. Is outside of Looe, but if you are looking for comfort and some tranquillity, this is the place!

Perfect!
Had a wonderful stay at Bucklawren. Beautiful house with stunning grounds and views. Jo is the perfect host, very warm and friendly. We had a very comfortable room with everything you could possibly want. We really enjoyed the breakfasts, great choice of cereals, fruit, etc followed by a lovely full English. Highly recommend!

Went with misses and our 2 boys and we all really enjoyed our stay at the bucklawren farm..jo was really warm and welcoming and made sure we were all ok..we also really enjoyed the full english breakfast every morning and had a great time in cornwall..thx jo

Lovely hotel friendly beautiful views lovely if you enjoy country walks only down fall was although only 3and half miles from looe taxi fair on way from farm was £10 we loved the local bands very traditional but expensive night out £20 - £23 there n back in taxi nice place as stop gap if traveling lovely breakfast .

Had to wait ages for the hot water in the tap however the shower was fabulous. The rural location made the internet slow.

Our stay at Bucklawren farm was fantastic. Our hosts Jo and mum were wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Our twin room was on the ground floor which gave us our own front door. The views over the headland was beautiful. The beds were extremely comfortable and we could control the heating so it made for a really cozy stay. The breakfast was delicious Jo uses all local produce i.e. sausages bacon eggs honey jams etc. 5 star! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Jo and mum.

Such a lovely place, we was made very welcome by all, excellent view across to Looe Island from our room, and the breakfast was cooked to perfection. Could not fault anything. Would definately stay there again.

Quiet and rural but close to local amenities.
Very Friendly. Exceptional breakfast. Idyllic rural setting having great views of countryside and coast. Need a car if planning day trips, limited public transport. Walkers paradise. Slow Broadband. Would like to return.

Jo who runs the b&b is brilliant. We were given tea and excellent cake on arrival. Very welcome after a long journey. Nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. Breakfast choice and service was first class. A far better experience than many of the three and four star hotels we have used in the past year.

Relaxing short break
We had a wonderful 3 night stay. Our host Jo was very welcoming. It was an excellent location, not too far from Looe and Polperro or the Eden Project. But in a very quiet rural location with excellent view of Looe, the sea and Looe Island from our bedroom. We would highly recommend to others.

We were only there for one night but would gladly have stayed for weeks. When we arrived at the end of the day we were greeted with a friendly smile, soon followed by tea and cake in the conservatory.. The en-suite room at the front had a spectacular sea view, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean - as was the rest of the guest house. A full choice was offered at breakfast in a bright and airy room with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I would be happy to recommend Bucklawren Farm.

Set in interesting coutryside near the sea
Lovely view from the comfortable room. We like to walk and the owner was helpful in finding out bus routes and timetables so we could get back easily. Breakfast was good. There was a conservatory, lounge and garden to sit in, and nice cake when we arrived..

Comfort and tranquility
We arrived in mid winter and we're the only guest, what a find. On arrival warmly greeted and shown to the lounge where we were offered tea and cake. The lounge was in keeping with what I imagine a farming family home should be like. Slightly oldie world, comfortable and roomy. Our host showed us to our room and which comfortable, well appointed, clean and had a superb view over Looe and the coast. We were given good advice for pub food in Looe and things to do in the area. Breakfast was generous, in a room that was light and airy. All in all a lovely short stay, I have given it 5 stars for what it is, a good B&B in a quiet and lovely location. It is not a luxurious or pretentious place, simply comfortable and friendly Highly recommended

Excellent farmhouse B & B
The room was large, light and airy, and very comfortable. The ensuite shower room was very clean, modern and a comfortable size with a large shower enclosure. We had a magnificent view from our bedroom window across the fields to the sea. (We stayed in the rose room.) Jean and Jo made us feel very welcome. The quality of the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely use Bucklauren again and would very highly recommend it.

the perfect B/B out of the way. very quiet, fabulous views, spotlessly clean and warm. very comfortable bed. brilliant. and while your there go to the Jolly sailor inn Looe on a Thursday night for a great shanty singalong night.

Beautiful house overlooking Looe.
Arrived to a warm welcome from Jo with a pot of tea and homemade cake. Our room was immaculate with a lovely view of the garden. From the sunlounge there was a lovely view of Looe Island. Breakfasts were extremely good and nothing was too much trouble. Intend to make another trip in the spring as there was so much to see and not enough time to do everything. Would certainly recommend Bucklawren Farm for those who want peace and tranquility.

Nice Family Run Hotel Near to Looe and the Sea
We were greeted with a cup of tea and a friendly welcome. The hospitality was genuine, the atmosphere relaxed. The room was clean and tidy with a fantastic view over the surrounding countryside to the sea. There were all the amenities one expects of a modern hotel wifi, tv etc. together with all the charm and warmth of Cornish hospitality.
