This was one night stay before an early ferry crossing and it was just the ticket. Small twin room with everything we needed for a great nights sleep. Nice people who were helpful and friendly.

Nice accommodation in a good position

Fab house very comfortable and superb location right on the beach opposite St Michael's Mount. Only negative (unless you are a trainspotter) is the adjacent railway line but trains are no more frequent than about one every 10 minutes and don't run through the night. Already planning a return visit.

Stayed here for a week during the Kernowman triathlon. Needed something on a budget and this more than delivered. Excellent facilities. Some quirks that might make access difficult if you have limited mobility but this is addressed by a stair lift. This is also referenced in the property details. Staff were very friendly.

A short but memorable stay for all the right reasons! Originally had booked for one night, but liked so much that we extended our stay. On arrival were given a tour of the facilities and shown to room. The room was large, modern, bright and of a lovely standard. As a premium room it included extra touches like a coffee machine. Very comfortable bed, good shower and soft carpet. Breakfast was yummy and kept us going until dinner! There were a number of things we needed help with during the...

We have visited Penzance on many day trips during summer months and often thought it may be nice to visit 'out of season'. Additionally we have always felt that The Dolphin looks a nice place to stay, with an excellent location by the harbour. We travelled down on the overnight train from Paddington (an experience in itself), and was not disappointed with our choice of The Dolphin to stay. The weather was kind to us, and we had three lovely days in and around Penzance.
