A great experience! Lombard House is located just off the Penzance promenade, a short walk from Penzance train station and bus station. I stayed in a single room, at the rear of the building, so didn't get the sea view, but that was OK. The room was compact but perfectly adequate. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with a kettle and a tea,coffee and biscuit tray that was replenished daily. There was a large TV fitted into one corner. The bed was comfortable and the shower room clean and stocked with toiletries and towels. Breakfast was excellent. Whilst I chose the full English, cooked to order, and toast, there was a wide choice of cooked alternatives along with cereals, fruit, cheese etc. to cater for all tastes. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I had a great four day stay and no complaints.
