"I can't recommend Lugo Rock enough. Katie has turned it into a really lovely b&b, with lots of nice personal touches. Nothing is too much trouble. Catering for all dietary requirements, help with local places to eat and visit. Train times. Delicious breakfasts and a great selection. Her and her staff make you feel very welcome. Lugo Rock is also in an ideal location, only minutes from Gyllyngvase beach, Falmouth town train station and the harbour. "

Parking is on the street, but we had no trouble finding a spot near the Inn. Rooms are located on the second floor, with the pub, dining room and kitchen occupying the first floor. "Lovely Easter break! The 'Owl' room was ideal for the four of us, as has bunks for the kids & a fabulous super-king bed. Superb Breakfasts & Sunday roast served by hosts Dave, Jackie & their team. 5 min drive from St Ives, didn't cause us an issue. This is quite a remote spot so would need a car as not much within walking distance. Excellent base for touring the extreme 'Pointy end' "

The steps were a challenge, I consider myself quite fit but 74steps to climb with luggage not easy, added to which my husband scraped his car on the hand rail while trying to park on the tricky slope. The views were amazing from the deck as expected."
