Hotel focused on style over substance. Many services offered dont live upto the 5-star rating. Services are available in order to claim 5 star, but don't deliver. Shuttle service from local train station was slow and excuses were made for late arrival (~approximately 45 minute wait after ringing ahead, and being given a 15 minute arrival time). Room service was prompt but food presentation was poor (plates wrapped in foil), and ability to dine in the room has not been considered. Pool was not in operation, but was only informed at check-in. Beds are small and uncomfortable. Bar is poor and service was basically rude. In summary, the hotel has tried to reach a high standard, but overall impression is that the establishment and management cant deliver or maintain the standard throughout. Consider the hotel as 4 star and it will help to align with expectations.
