Worth staying if you get a good rate

Cons: Service in restaurants
This is a busy, fairly large hotel with somewhat depressing/dark colour scheme in rooms and corridors. Has 3 restaurants..one that serves only a choice of lobster or steak...fine for 1 night, 2 if you like both options. Service in that restaurant was slow and considering the limitations of the menu did not expect items like the sauce you ordered to be forgotten. If you want a second drink you need to keep searching for your waiter. The bar also serves a limited Italian style menu...this was not bad if you are overnighting. Couldn't try the Indian restaurant as my partner doesn't like that cuisine. I wish Indian restaurants would put 1 or 2 items for those who don't like Indian so those who do are not obliged to forego. Staff at Front Desk were friendly and helpful as was the blonde waitress in the Bijou Bar..staff in Lobster and Steak seemed clueless. Buffet breakfast uninspiring.

Rooms.

Posted 18-Aug-2016
Pros: Location and service
Cons: Rooms and hallway needs renovation. Carpet worn and dirty. Beds need replacing.
Location: Not much to do close by. Hotel has few restaurants. Indian restaurant got great reviews. Catch a can and drive to city sites about 40 mins ride.
Staff extremely courteous and efficient. Answered all our concerns. Rooms needs to be updated. Beds a bit worn and the mattress needed to be replaced. Stayed 1 night so it served its purpose as we wanted to be close to airport. 5 mins ride by cab. Hotel lobby beautiful. Buffet breakfasts available but pricey if you're not a big eater. $17.00 per person.

Nice hotel close to Airport, rooms are very small and I was disappointed that I was given a smoking room and had to move however they considered it a non smoking room

I want to live there.

Posted 16-Aug-2016
Pros: Everything. Well, I'm not crazy about the half-door shower door, but...
Cons: Full width shower doors. I just hate getting water on the floor, even if someone else is going to clean it up.
Location: Right next to the airport, but far enough away to be quiet. I have no idea what to do nearby...I only stayed the night,
Beautiful hotel. The nicest staff. They even got the steak right...in England! Everything is pricey, but you get what you pay for. Seriously. If I could, I would live there.

Nice hotel

It's a nice hotel. The only downside is that it takes too long to downtown London.

Nice hotel, close to Heathrow Airport.

Posted 09-Aug-2016
Pros: It's proximity to the airport
Cons: The cleanliness of the room could be improved. It would be nice to tell the guests that the keycard goes in a slot by the door to activate the lights.
The bed was very comfortable and the shower was awesome. The room's surfaces were in need of a good cleaning. The staff was very helpful.

Excellent reception on arrival. Very comfortable and quiet room no door slamming in the night. Excellent value for money, Would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel close to Heathrow

Posted 08-Aug-2016
Pros: This is a nice modern hotel close to Heathrow, which can be reached by one of the regularly running airport shuttles.
Cons: Put working dispensers in the shower.
All in all, this was a very nice and quiet place to spend a night near Heathrow while in transit. Rooms were modern and pleasant and staff were helpful. I had two minor negatives: (1) the bottles of shower wash and shampoo in the shower would not dispense and (2) there were very limited places to eat in the vicinity of the hotel.

I was not impressed

Posted 02-Aug-2016
Hotel lobby smelt like a chimney, rowdy and noisy. Rug in the room needs some cleaning beyond vacuuming. I am not sure it was worth the cost except for its convenience to Heathrow but then again there are dozens of hotels around. Truth is I am certaining not coming back
