"Came here as a solo traveller and LOVED it. The single room was a little small, but perfect for only staying a couple days. The bathroom + shower were also very small, but considering I’m only 158cm/5’3, it worked out well. However, a taller person may find it a bit uncomfortable.
The location was perfect. It was only 10 min by foot from the train station and about 15 min from Cardiff Castle.
I also had an issue the first night with the heater in the room so I complained to the staff. Not...

Beautiful house set in the stunning Exmoor National park is worth the 5 stars alone. However , it is the attentiveness of the owners and attention to detail that really makes Edgcott House very, very special.
Room was beautifully appointed with quality fixtures, made all the more special with aromatherapy products in the bathroom and freshly baked cake left in the room each day.
The breakfasts are the highlight. Exceptional quality local produce, along with homemade preserves and breads, and...

Quiet location within walking distance from Cardiff Central & town centre. Lovely sounds of the flowing river.
Clean hotel. Spaciously very clean room and shower/toilet facilities. Plenty to eat at breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
However, not suitable for wheelchair users or those having difficulties climbing to the 3rd floor.

There was a fantastic room and restaurant, and lovely staff. I arrived and was greeted, and then shown to my room, which was very pleasant. I was welcomed with a clean room, ease of access and plenty of light. The room was as to be expected, a little small, but for what its worth, it was fantastic.
The night sleep was fantastic also, the bed was comfy, and the shower was excellent.
The parking situation - there is none. It is street parking, not a big deal, but you have to find a spot...
