"Location was 10 mins walk from centre and had secure parking. Apartment was well equipped with kitchen and bathroom amenities, 3 TVs and comfy beds, however there was crumbs left in one wardrobe drawer, raw chicken left in freezer, and smell of curry upon arrival. Advert states the apartment sleeps 6 people but the sofa bed is only a single bed so actually ONLY SLEEPS 5. Also, did not have communication from host upon arrival after trying to contact, so therefore had to have help from reception...

"The staff were helpful, breakfast excellent The bed was comfortable and given the age understandable the lack of AC Overall we enjoyed our stay The room however does show its age"

"All the staff were lovely, friendly from the moment we arrived till when we left. The rooms were clean, tidy, and well presented, with thoughtful extra touches. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent and a lovely way to start the day. Such a shame we were only there for one day."

"Every member of staff we encountered from the receptionist to the maintenance staff and bar/restaurant staff were excellent. Such good customer service the manager should be very proud. Room was very good , clean, roomy and well appointed. The only complaint we had was that the drains in the bathroom smelt bad. It didn’t stop us enjoying our stay but if we had been staying more than one night we would have asked to change rooms. Apart from that we would definitely return."

"Had an excellent stay at the hotel, our room had been recently refurbished and was spotlessly clean. Very smart bathroom, plenty of sockets and a lovely shower! The staff from start to finish were friendly, welcoming and helpful, definitely would recommend and will be staying here in future - thank you!"

"Excluding the non functional ac in my room it was a very pleasant stay with incredible views of the minster very safe for solo travellers and for people who like nights out its round the corner from the iconic flares nightclub for people who like peace and quiet it is also really well suited the rooms have excellent sound insulation hardly any noise"

"Bar area and restaurant very nice and well maintained. Outdoor area could do with some new furniture and umbrellas- impossible to sit outside in the sun. Pool clean and well maintained as were sauna and steam room. Jacuzzi not working- changing rooms clean but a little dated. Rooms clean and nicely decorated bathrooms could do with a little updating. Air con not working. Excellent location for racecourse events and local Parkrun."

"Perfectly located right by the train station for rail links and also a very short walk into the beautiful city centre. The hotel is stunning inside and out. Our room was clean but sadly the air con had a mind of its own and would almost “flush” every hour, which woke me every hour in the night, that combined with the vibration of the fridge in the wardrobe, it wasn’t the best nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious and fresh."
