"It really was as lovely as it looked. Comfy beds, loads of glasses etc, keys etc where they said they’d be. I’d definitely book through them again if I was staying in York"

"A really amazing apartment with free parking and within easy walking distance of the city centre. The host was really reactive and any queries were answered really quickly. Would highly recommend this place and York in general. Lots to do in the city and the surrounding areas."

"A lovely home right in the centre of York. We had a wonderful stay on Warwick Street. The location was perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the Minster, with everything we needed within walking distance and plenty of amenities close by.The property itself was beautiful, bright, spotlessly clean, and stunningly decorated, making it ideal for our trip. The host has truly gone above and beyond to make it feel like a home away from home, with lots of thoughtful extras you wouldn’t usually find, such as...

Great location and price. Full of character very welcoming and comfy. Considering the age of the building they have managed the space and updated the hotel with modern facilities. Personal touches of tea coffee and biscuits and toiletries, hairdryer etc. Included breakfast was fresh and good in choice of cereals fresh fruit toasts jams and many varieties of cooked breakfasts to your liking. Overall great value for money and centre location for town exploring.

We had a lovely stay at Marmadukes. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and when we had a problem with our room we were moved straight away without any fuss. It's a beautiful building and in a great location from which to discover York. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic accommodation in a perfect location. Fran & Jamie are most welcoming and attentive to all needs. Our room was spotlessly clean & tastefully furnished. There were two mince pies left in our room for us on arrival, a lovely festive gesture. Breakfast was delicious, absolutely anything you could ask for, along with freshly baked bread of which the aroma filled the Hotel first thing in the morning.
Parking was provided, and the City centre is a 10 minute walk away. We can highly recommend...

We wanted a hotel close to the Shambles and the Christmas market. We found the Judges Court in the perfect location and loved the look of the rooms on the website. It was a short walk from the train station and the Judges Court did not disappoint, nor did the staff who could not have been more helpful. We highly recommend the Judges Court.

Extremely friendly staff welcoming and eager to please nothing appears to be too much trouble, moved rooms with no problems as I wanted a room with a bath. Both rooms we used were themed in keeping with the hotel history but with all essentials for a comfortable stay. Room 7 must have the best view from a hotel window in York.
Breakfast was available from 8 to 10 plenty of choice and of excellent quality. Hot food is available from 12 midday good selection of beer in the popular bar including...

Nice room, really clean, big TV and great shower. Bed was a bit low, but otherwise room was excellent. Breakfast was good if a bit chaotic at times and the service was generally good & friendly (with the notable exception of one young waitress at breakfast, who has a poor attitude). Great location to explore York. Would happily stay here again.

Fantastic hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful, great location with car parking, my only issue was the bed being too soft but I have chronic back pain, other than that an excellent stay
