"Property feels quite grand as it is a lovely old building but when inside it feels quite warm & welcoming. The staff are very polite & courteous and our room was excellent. I was staying with my daughter and we only had a classic twin but it was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Underfloor heating in the spacious bathroom was also a plus. Beds were large & comfortable, everything was very clean and we made use of the robes, complimentary water & tea & snacks. "

"Quirky and convenient for the city centre. Room comfortable and everything impeccably clean and tidy. Breakfast - choice and quality excellent. This was our first time at the Indigo and will definitely not be the last. I imagine it could be noisy at the weekend as it is in the centre of the student accommodation area but, we weren't affected"

"Beautiful hotel with friendly welcoming staff. Rooms excellent, bar lovely with the most friendly bar staff we’ve ever encountered in a hotel. We needed breakfast extra early and the staff were more than happy to accommodate our out of hours need. Will definitely be back! "

"Park Inn is ideally placed to explore York. It has on-site parking (separately charged), while being convenient for train travellers. Breakfast isn't cheap but is plentiful and varied, covering hot and continental options. The bedrooms are clean, of good size and can have river views for a small increase in price. The Bar area overlooks the river and again is clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. Our only issue was with noise from revellers outside the Hotel. As a destination for Hen and Stag parties, as well as a student population, this is likely to be a recurring problem! We love the Park Inn so will probably use again despite noise reservations!!"
