This is the second time we have stayed at South Point and I think it is becoming our favourite place
It is off strip but when you have been to Vegas a few times you don't need to be on strip all the time
Their are lots of food choices and with good prices
The gambling is better prices and the Poker room is very well organised
The casino is always busy

This is a real gem of a place, slightly away from the noise of the strip but there is a free shuttle bus that runs every hour to and from New York New York Casino. Add to that free breakfast every morning and 3 nights a week free dinners and you can't go wrong.
The apartments were very roomy and extremely clean, pull out sofa-beds for kids or noisy snorers, small kitchenette complete with washer/dryer with huge bath and separate shower room.

Needed somewhere in Summerlin (a suburb in the west of Vegas) when visiting a relative, so we didn't need to be anywhere near the strip. This was a great find; clean, quiet, comfortable, good value and convenient for shops and restaurants. The pool was quiet and pleasant, reception staff were helpful.
