The Stratosphere Hotel & Casino is always our go-to spot every time we’re in Vegas! Great atmosphere, fun casino, and always a good time. We love staying here and will definitely keep coming back!
The check in counter receptionist Maria was very helpful and accommodating in our inquiries
She explains everything with regards to hotel amenities and facilities.
It’s a great deal. Close to Fremont and the Strip. Nice rooms, amenities, plus entertainment. Definitely worth a few nights worth of fun just at the hotel.
Casino dealers were really great and room was clean and ready. Only downside is that there aren’t a lot of options in the hotel for food compared to other places on the strip.
The hotel was nice. Comedy show was great. I think the hotel guests should be allowed up the tower at no cost, sure the bungee jumping and other rides are feeling but to look out should be free to quests of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very small for the price. Staff was great

The hotel is pretty old, the rooms has a recent renovation and are comfortable
The shower is terrible bad place, too close to the wall and shampoo dispenser, it is very uncomfortable
Clean and updated vibe of classic Vegas. Very glad I chose to stay here over the new and updated more corperate hotels as the spire has the best view of the city and sphere hands down, and has been a staple of vegas since it was built. I hope they never demolish this historical spot and continue to keep it up to date for people to live out a classic vegas experience. Genuinely felt like I was in the lucky 38 if it were in the year 2026, so its a good spot for a Fallout nerd like myself. The one downside could be that it's at the very end of the strip so you may need a ride unless you plan on walking alot. Kind and helpful staff as well! Would come thru and stay here again!

I didnt like the homeless people out in front. The dj was awesome friday night. Check in was good. Room was kind of clean. Some dust on places. The conditioner was empty and one light in the bathroom was flickering and went out. Ride share and bus stops were convenient. Like that Starbucks and McDonald's.
I was disappointed with my stay at the hotel. The rooms are not soundproof. The amenities provided were not amenities. Everything it’s outdated and they want to charge you for new and improved establishments when that’s further from the truth. The staff was very nice and the restaurant at the tower self amazing food but that was it. I wish they will improve the hotel and soundproof the rooms.
First time staying at the Strat and overall it was a good experience…for the most part. The room came with a fridge which was nice since our last hotel charged us extra just to have a fridge in our room.
Our phone wasn’t working the whole time which was kind of frustrating cause we couldn’t get a hold of the front desk. And our safe was broken when we got into the suite so we had to go downstairs physically to get help so that was a little inconvenient.
It was a comfortable stay for what we needed aside from that though!

Most of the facility was great, but some of the small things I noted. Some of the bathroom fixtures in the room were dated, loose and corroded, Several places the caulking was cracked , loose or absent. Saw some of the same in the public restrooms in the casino. Relatively easy fixes, but makes the rest kind of suspect. The Top of the World restaurant was great. The trash around the outer part of the driving range was surprising. The management would do well to take a walk around the boundaries of their property.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
We were given the wrong room, our Next room smelt of sewerage and we had to change again and front desk staff told us that we were not the 1st to complain about this. There were no basic amenities in the room such as a kettle. The air-conditioner was very loud as well as pipes in the wall. I had to call three times before getting hold of someone at reception to ask for more toilet paper as our room was never serviced when he had the dnd off. Our friends also had to change rooms due to their front door not even closing and a broken shower. The staff member that checked us in was great very friendly and very helpful.

There was a grey stain on one of the room towels. The shampoo and body wash was empty when we arrived. Asked the registration desk for first aid and they told me they didn't have any but that security should have it. Asked security for first aid and they told me they didn't have any and to ask the registration desk. I told them that registration sent me to security and security told me to buy first aid. The express check-in printed me a hotel room key and I received no hotel room number. A staff member at concierge generously gave us free parking.

The hotel was good, majority of the staff were nice and helpful. The major things that i did not like was on our first day, the ice machine in our floor was not working. We were just told that someone will bring ice to our room. No one came. When i called the front desk, the guy i talked to was not very nice. He was yelling at me and saying there was another ice machine at our floor or we could have went to another floor. Well they should have told us that information the first time I complained about the machine and not promise to bring us ice but no one came. There was also one night that I requested our room to be cleaned but when we arrived past midnight it was still dirty. The house keeping staff who came to clean and provided us clean towels was very nice. One more issue we had was the shower drain. The water takes too long to go down the drain when you shower. They need to fix it. Over all, our stay was good and will not mind staying there again when we come back.
A fantastic tower with an amazing view.
But boy is there a lot of bad things to say about that hotel if you're staying there,
Most shops on the second level are dead and or empty. Casino has higher minimum bets than other hotels i've seen.
Rooms are pretty banged up. The AC unit's bearings were shot (i work in HVAC) so it sounded like beads shaking in a 5 gallon buckets. The fan for the microscopic bathroom was also trying its best to get on my nerves. Not to mention it was crusted with dust and mold.
The internet was finicky and i had to call some third party company that handles their wifi.
Ventilation seemed halfway working in the building , some zones were musty and warm.
The carpet in my room was absolutely disgusting in the corners and spots where they clearly don't bother to move things when vacuuming.
Mattress was an well worn metal springs kind. Halfway collapsed on the side.
For the price , there's just so many better places you can go to.
Oh ! and they don't comp drinks when you gamble. at least absolutely no one came by to offer. Which is pretty standart everywhere else.
