"Really nice hotel near the city centre. Very short walk away from train stations (Exeter Central and Exeter St David's) and the cathedral. The room was a great size and very clean. There was also some complimentary port and flapjacks which was a lovely surprise when we arrived. The breakfast was really tasty and decently priced (£15 for a cooked breakfast, unlimited hot drinks, and a small continental breakfast buffet). Only negative for me was that it was sometimes quite hard to find a member...

"Very passable basic room for a very good price. Can't complain for the money it cost. Clean and comfortable enough and friendly staff but the shower wasn't great (broken attachment to the rail) and the coffee at breakfast was undrinkable."

"Booked The Cromwell Arms for a 3 night stay with my husband. I came down to Devon to visit my Dad who lives quite near so this place was ideal for us. On arrival this is a very quaint looking establishment and quite a few places at the rear for Free parking too. We booked in and shown to our room. We were both pleasantly surprised. The staff are brilliant they can’t do enough for you a couple of hiccups were dealt with very quickly and professionally the breakfast’s were very good and Louise was great at looking after us. The accommodation, food and hospitality is really good. The atmosphere created by the many local residents when the pub is open supporting the business says it all. "

"A really old pub in a remote part of the Tamar Valley AONB with lots of character. The meal that we had was excellent and there was a good selection of wines to choose from. The accommodation was also excellent and way above what we were expecting for a B&B attached to a pub. The staff were very friendly and made us really welcome. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area. "

"My wife and I had an excellent and comfortable stay! We were greeted at the door and taken care of as we were shown to our room. Upon arrival they gave us an upgrade to a sea view which was very kind! Everything was brilliant, only slight issue was the lack of wifi & reception in our room (reception problem with the area, not the hotel itself). We didn’t end up trying any food though, but looked delicious. Thank you Orestone for accommodating us! "

"This house proved to be an idea l place to spend a few days with grandparents, children and grandchildren. The facilities were fantastic and allowed us to enjoy our holiday despite very poor weather. The warm enclosed swimming pool enabled the grand children to improved their swimming skills and the movie screen and projector allowed the adults to catch up on some movies. I hope we get chance to return before long."
