Good stay at Connect City Hotel in Stockholm. It's a good location and easy to find, like 20 min to the center with public transport (bus or tube).
Good facilities, heating, hot water and everything. I didn't have any problems regarding quality of sleep.
Breakfast OK, but not very varied, but for my 3 nights stay it was OK.
We stayed at the hotel Jan 1, I got an email informing me that the reception would be closing at noon and we were going to be late checking in so I called the hotel to make check in arrangements. Stay were helpful, gave me a code for the door and the key box. Unfortunately when we got there the door was broken and the code didn't work which the staff didn't seem surprised about when I texted saying we were locked out. The person I spoke with offered to come let me in within 30 minutes which was nice of them since I guess technically they weren't working anymore but far from convenient. Luckily a guy happened to be there to fix the door and he let us in.
We were also told in the booking that breakfast was included and then the day of check in we were informed they weren't severing breakfast for the holidays and refunded us a few dollars which was nice, but again inconvenient.
The rooms themselves are very clean and fairly well appointed for a budget hotel. I thought the beds were comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. The pillows were terrible, but I have noticed that is a common issue in Sweden.
Overall, it was a decent place for a good nights sleep and a great location. I may recommend it depending on the price but it wouldn't be at the top of my list

We stayed in this hotel when we first were dating 12 years ago! We enjoyed our stay just as much this visit. This time we walked a lot more and saw more sites. The hotel staff was very helpful and the food was delicious, always. The gift shop did not give receipts on the second and third visit. Of our month traveling Europe, this was the most expensive hotel of all.

The boat was comfortable enough to stay in for our family of three and the location was good. However, gone are "Our lovely crew: Sussi, Linnea & Maja" talked about on their website (http://www.msmonika.se/en/about-the-ship). They have been replaced by a Polish fellow who's pleasant enough, but knows little about Swedish life and doesn't understand the language should you, the foreign traveller, need anything explained or translated. For example: I ignorantly attracted a parking violation and the fellow was unable to tell me why or what the notice actually said I had done wrong. (I found out later: If you park on the street just outside of the boat, you must move your car on Friday morning from midnight to 6:00 or you'll get a big fine.)
"Semiclose to downtown, very nice front desk lady"
-really nice and helpful lady works the front desk.
-there is wifi but does not work I the room we reserved so I had to come out to the lobby
-its close to public transportation
-there is a fairly cheap pizza place a few buildings down run by people who dont speak o word of english but the pizza is good. About 11 dollars for a pizza and soda.
-they have some computers there to use but they dont work too well.
- Also it has shared bathrooms so you might be takinga shower with a man or woman I the next stall.
-overall the place works for a few nights for a good price
This historic island neighborhood on Stockholm's Riddarfjärden Bay offers paved walking paths next to the shore and green parks to explore. Several bridges offer easy access. Stockholm City Hall, built with more than 8 million bricks, stands tall on the waterfront and the castle-like Stockholm Courthouse is a must-see. Apartments, shops, and cafés line the streets.
