"We had a fantastic one night stay with our family of two adults, two children (11 and 6) and dog. We especially loved exploring the grounds, meeting the peacocks and relaxed dining in the drawing room (Polly the pooch was made very welcome and the service was 5*). The staff were lovely and dealt with all our queries with a smile. The daily tour of the castle was another highlight, with a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. "Great stay. Central location, friendly staff. Large family room, very clean, very spacious. Tea and coffee. Fantastic breakfast. Fantastic value for money. Only downside room was over the bar area, quite loud music and noise after closing, sounded like cleaning. "

"This was my first time staying at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park but it certainly won't be my last. Lovely hotel, excellent gym / pool / spa facilities, plentiful parking, lovely food and drinks, lovely staff, lovely room with a huge window for lots of natural light. Highly recommended."
