Just got home from a weekend here and it was absolutely beautiful... breakfast options were great and swimming pool, sauna and steam room were great. My only bad point was the mattress wasnt all that but maybe its be being fussy. Netherless a beautiful place and we will be back in the summer

Hotel and Spa staff were very welcoming and helpful. Chef was amazing cooked a special vegan meal for my daughter each night we ate in hotel, as there was nothing suitable for her on menu. Room was comfortable and we had everything we required (only feedback I would give is that it would have been more useful to have a couple more sockets available). This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Edinburgh. The tram station is right outside and only 20 mins ins. We drove and parking was straight forward albeit chargeable at £8 per day. The pool was a real added bonus for our kids after a long day of tourism. Only slight issue for me is our kids are getting older and Novotels concept of a "family" room is starting to look less desirable than the Premier Inns as the sofa bed is tight. We had a great time on a Weekend city break to Edinburgh, on arrival all staff were very welcoming and telling us times for breakfast and bar and quick check in. Room was so nice and thoughout the hotel for lovely decorated for Christmas. Bar staff were friendly and great cocktails, Quick and easy check out.

A lovely hotel. For us, the fitness facilities was the best part of the hotel: a gym plus a decent sized pool. We didn't have the chance to try any spa treatments so cannot comment on those. Our room was very good size. More than enough space for the two of us. Finishing touch was the mince pies at reception. They were delicious! One suggestion for improvement: better coffee in the room please!

We had an overnight stay and arrived late so not sure what is around the area except a huge Asda within walking distance. Check in staff were amazing - very friendly and so helpful. A total credit to the hotel!! The bar area is very spacious and welcoming. Room was big and plenty room to move around

Girlfriends 24th birthday so we stayed in the junior suite and it is one of the best views and rooms I have ever stayed in.
