We had an amazing stay! Lovely and helpful staff. I am very thankful! I planned a surprise for my partner as it was his birthday, soni asked if they can do it for me, they said they don’t do that but they will note of it but the staff did an extra mile and also gave us free drinks! It was simple but very special, he was surprised! ❤️ thank you so much. We will surely recommend and come back again.

Once inside, the apartment was quiet, comfortable and very well resourced. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable 3 night stay, including a supermarket next door. The welcome pack of cereals, bread, fresh juices, milk and biscuits were an added bonus. Great location, walking distance to all the sights and excellent local independent shops. You must go to Mary's Milk Bar in the Grassmarket and Lovecrumbs across the street

Modern stylish and great location

The Murrayfield Hotel is the gem of Edinburgh. I had the pleasure of staying 4 nights. It’s a quick bus ride to Edinburgh Castle. In a great old neighbourhood of Edinburgh with excellent local shops, a few restaurants and cafes nearby. The room. My room had very high ceilings with the original plaster work. Wonderful stylish hotel just opened so very clean and fresh. My room was an apartment with kitchenette (I don't think there is a dining room), high quality spacious bathroom and very high speed WiFi. Staff pleasant, location central and good bar/cafe area. I wanted to stay longer and will definitely stay next time.

Our room exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel was perfect and the car parking facilities were very particularly useful - and unusual to find within a city break. The club lounge was also a real treat.

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!

Well located hotel right in the royal mile. Has its own parking which is easy to find and discounted for hotel guests. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

Adored the lady that checked us in, who assisted us at a later point throughout our stay. The hotel was lovely, clean and warm. The swimming pool was a little cold at first but not too much of a problem. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a continental bar to help yourself to. This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Edinburgh. The tram station is right outside and only 20 mins ins. We drove and parking was straight forward albeit chargeable at £8 per day. The pool was a real added bonus for our kids after a long day of tourism. Only slight issue for me is our kids are getting older and Novotels concept of a "family" room is starting to look less desirable than the Premier Inns as the sofa bed is tight. We cannot recommend this property enough! The location, cleanliness,staff,the upstairs bar, everything was wonderful. Its steps away from the station and everything is walkable. We did not get a taxi or uber once because we were able to walk to most of the locations. I highly recommend this hotel. Will stay again if we visit Edinburgh

We stayed in the lodge. Everything was very nice. Room was nice and tidy. Really appreciated the lovely sherry after a 4 hour drive. Bed was comfortable. The cooked to order breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Hotel location is very convenient to getting into town centre. You can catch a but right outside the hotel and buses run regularly until very late. Wold definitely recommend and would stay here again.
