Stayed at the hotel as had an early flight from Edinburgh Airport, and I defo served a purpose. Room was clean, bed comfy and decent showered. Restaurant was good and food was decent. Would defo stay again if had another early flight from Edinburgh.

Uninspiring exterior but clean, warm interior with helpful staff and comfortable en-suite rooms with tv, serviced regularly. Warm and welcoming bar lounge and restaurant areas offering range of food & drink all excellently prepared, presented and served promptly if not cheaply. Easy access by road to airport and Edinburgh. Near to local shopping mall with restaurants and cinema. Free parking for guests on-site.

We had a good stay at the Mercure Livingston Hotel. The staff were kind and the hotel had a simple, family friendly atmosphere. It was affordable and the restaurant and bar were convenient and easy to access. Old tvs and basic cable with barely any channels. No plugs by the bed though

The room was very dated but very clean and bed very comfortable. No fridge, was OK for one night Felt over priced. Car park was free but lots of potholes. Felt as a female travelling on my own I did not feel comfortable as lots of men hanging about outside.

The hotel is a little far from where you want to be if you want to see Edinburgh unless you have a car. There are no stores or anything close by the hotel so if you don't have a car it's difficult. The train station is about an hour walk away and about an 8 pound cab ride. There aren't any Uber's available just from the airport. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was nice. The food in the restaurant was kind of ok. It was very expensive.
