Absolutely perfect hotel. Staff inc Tina, Alex and Luke all great, room perfect - exceptionally clean with a comfy bed. Restaurant stunning, food great and good value - the Carrot Cake really something else! Also best breakfast I’ve had in a long while. Stunning location too

Had a fabulous stay at this gorgeous traditional inn. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean, with good amenities, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, and complimentary items in the fridge and bathroom. Service from staff was wonderful and friendly, and the included breakfast is amazing. Location is exceptional, right on the square opposite the cathedral, with easy access to the high street and the train station. I loved my stay, and definitely hope to stay again. Thank you to the Old Vine!

Wykeham Arms is a period institution! Accomodation is a plus, and great food... Location, location, location helps!

The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the little extras including ironing board and hairdryer as well as fresh milk for the tea/coffee provided. Also the all necessary toiletries. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

A beautiful room in a delightful hotel, set in the heart of Winchester and so walking distance of shops, restaurants and the cathedral. There were lovely touches in the room including bottled water on the bedside tables and a well-stocked cupboard including iron, ironing board and a hairdryer. The bathroom had towelling robes, shower caps and nice toiletries. All members of staff were extremely polite and courteous.

We used the hotel as a base to visit the Bombay Sapphire gin factory which was very close by. It was an emotional visit for me as i last saw the hotel as my boarding school in 1968 I also fount my initials carved on a wall I remember this even after 48 years The hotel was fantastic we enjoyed our stay for one night and had a lovely breakfast. The only disappointment was the evening meal We did now want anything grand so chose the bar menu The burgers were very disappointing for the price and...
