If you're looking for a way of entertaining your kids for a few hours in Doha, visit KidzMondo. Inside the Mall of Qatar, KidzMondo gives children the chance to try adult professions. Calling itself an edutainment park, it has activities led by qualified adult educators and maintains a fun atmosphere similar to a miniature theme park. At KidzMondo, let your child choose a profession and then role-play his or her daily life, assisted by on-hand educators. Kids can choose from more than 80 professions, including firefighter, pilots, chefs and doctors. Children earn their own money to spend here. When they take on new roles, they dress in the uniforms of their profession. Everything takes place in a replica city, with scaled-down streets, houses, shops and restaurants. Watch as kids put out a simulated fire in a burning building, work on the production line in a factory or drive an ambulance around the city saving lives. Explore the police station, theater, shops, hospital and bank in the replica city. The site’s own constitution encourages citizens to be honest, polite and happy and help others where they can. Note that many activities here are hands-on and physical. Kids can learn to become rock climbers on a real climbing wall, try playing soccer on a miniature field or be racecar drivers and drive around a scaled-down racetrack. Designed for children between the ages of 2 and 14 years, KidzMondo is a great place for a day out with your child that is fun and helpful for personal development. Allocate plenty of time for your visit. Kids can easily spend a full day in the city getting absorbed in the activities. Hosting children's birthday parties or other special occasions here is also popular. When the kids are hungry, choose from different restaurants and cafés serving burgers, pizza and other child-friendly food.
