(258 reviews) Being a frequent visitor to Sharm, I was surprised at how small the hotel is compared to others I have stayed at in. However it was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Plus points: Spacious room, hot poweful shower, comfortable bed, friendly attentive staff. Choice of pool areas depending on preference for quiet or lively. Negatives: Swim up rooms are not as pictured on website. You cannot actually swim up and the terraces are very shady only getting sun after 3pm which makes them unusable. Rooms near the beach road (I was 1401) are pretty noisy from the constant rumble of the shuttle bus blaring out the Macarena and other party tunes between 8am to 11pm. The gym is ill equiped for ladies with no dumbells or selection of light weights. Limited food choices but the quality of what was available was good. That said the positives definately outweigh the negatives and I would happily return. The service given by all members of staff was impeccable, the room was lovely with a panoramic sea view and a comfortable bed, and the food was varied and delicious, including the option of a wonderful outdoor grill in the evenings. Best of all for me, the house reef was incredible with all kinds of colourful fish seen close-up during snorkelling. (We’d planned on doing a boat-based snorkelling trip but decided there was no need as the house reef was so good!). The grounds were beautifully maintained and the pools were lovely, and nicely heated as it was winter (the top pool with swim-up-bar was almost hot!). There were always sun loungers available and a chilled vibe prevailed throughout, making it a really relaxing holiday. We took the free shuttle into Sharm for a more lively evening and shopping one night. I honestly cannot fault this hotel - a truly 5 star experience in every way. (252 reviews) We have just arrived home after a two week holiday at Belvedere it was our second stay there and it was still incredible on all points. The staff everywhere were very attentive to our every need. A special thank you to the cocktail bar staff who made our evenings (admaq Omar Mohamed Ali ) they were always smiling and happy to see us and worked really hard delivering great cocktails to everyone. Our housekeeper (Mahmoud) was fantastic, he went above and beyond to make our stay a happy and pleasurable one thank you Mahmoud. The food in the Buffet was fantastic. Tasty hot dishes, BBQ everyday outside. Beautiful fresh salads, breads, fruits and deserts we could not fault anything. The pool side and walk way between the beach was hosed down early every morning and they kept the area clean all day. The gardens are beautiful and immaculate. Great pools one heated. We would definitely come again in the future.
