We spent 5 days at Stella di Mare and we are sure that the staff is trying their best to make the most out of their facilities.
Unfortunately, we had a few issues before and during the stay.
We had sent a few emails before our arrivals and we never got a reply. Only after a few (international) calls, we managed to get an email saying to simply check at our arrival.
During our stay, the room never felt cleaned, often fluff since here and there, we could tell that the bathtub was not even rinsed. Furniture and appearance are old, not much to say about it. It's about taste.
We have also to mention that we were not their target customers. This hotel is clearly targeting Russian families and you can see from the food at the restaurants, entertainment is done mainly in Russian and the staff is basically bilingual.
Big thumb up for the concierge always accommodating and smiling, same for the reception.
Negative points:
- Having to pay for a bottle of water at the pool bar when at any restaurant is given for free, in the room is given for free as well.
- Food quantity is privileged to food quality!!!
- the amount of plastic produced at the restaurant. It's totally unnecessary to pack the cutlery in plastic.
- As mentioned before, room was not cleaned properly.
