The Hotel was located amongst beautiful grounds. It was a combination of old and new build and very clean in all public spaces. Staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and knowledgable about the local area. Our room was very spacious and well equipped with fabulous views down to the river and was spotlessly clean too (except for what appeared to be a blood stained bath towel!) A little off the beaten track but this hotel is of exceptional quality and it a bargain for the price we paid. VERY quiet and comfortable. Superb breakfast too. We'll definitely return!

The owner were extremely welcoming. Was told that there may be late night noise due to the new night club opposite. Which didn't close until about 3am. Also informed that there was a function in the hotel which would finish at midnight. Also changed our room so any noise from the night club would not disturb us. Arranged for us to have a meal even though the bar food was ready to close. also received 20% off the cost of the bar food menu The food was great value and cooked to perfection and...

We had a fantastic stay, by far the cleanest hotel & room we have stayed in - (& that’s quite a lot!). Excellent food & lovely, helpful staff, Nicole particularly gave top notch service. Very vegan friendly which is hugely appreciated! Gorgeous hotel & decor. Our cosy room was perfect, not really that small either! Highly recommend the afternoon tea - we will be back!

Our first visit to Beechfield House and hopefully not the last. Lovely, clean, well-serviced rooms. The heated outdoor pool a real draw for the children. A superbly professional Staff team attended to our every need, yet managed to offer a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere for our three girls and one dog.

This hotel is worth ten stars, the staff are so professional and friendly, food is amazing, spa is upkept to perfection standards and extremely relaxing, all set in the the most beautiful surroundings. Beds very comfortable, especially the pillows, rooms are large and when you drive away from this piece of heaven, you start booking your next stay in your mind.

If you want to treat yourself to a fabulous hotel, this is the place. A very comfortable and relaxing place to be. Attentive staff, where nothing seemed too much trouble. And a truly fantastic restaurant. For us this was a very rare treat, but what a treat it was!

From the moment we checked in the whole stay was second to none, normally this is a one or perhaps two night stay but we had about a week there. The staff were so helpful and very courteous on all levels, the room was clean and lovely bath towels provided. We used the fridge and iron and there video choices, even the water provided was a welcome touch. The morning breakfasts were delightful and catered for everyone, staff exceptional even when busy.
