"Good location and having a car park (albeit at a cost) is a boon but the beds gave both my wife and I terribly bad backs (for the second time, as we stayed here a year ago and figured maybe it was a one off) Also, the free WiFi was abysmal, when you could connect (which wasn’t very often) it was terribly slow and failed to load even the simplest of sites. The shower kept alternating between cold and boiling as you showered which wasn’t good and the heated towel rail meant the bathroom was constantly boiling. All in all it could be good with some improvements but as it stands we won’t be going back. "

"Good size room, warm, comfortable, well furnished and appointed, clean. Very good breakfast. Good service, pleasant welcoming staff. Overall excellent value for the price charged."

"Paid via hotels.com when booking yet was questioned multiple times about outstanding balance. Had 5 seperate phone calls, and was even interrupted in my room for payment. I showed proof it was paid several times and still they persist. "

"Nice clean and comfortable room but it overlooked the road by the main entrance and I was disturbed early morning by road noise. Smokers occasionally smoke at the hotel entrance waft smoke as you walk in or out. "

"The hotel was lovely, deco a little tired in places but very clean. Staff very attentive. Right on sea front had lovely room overlooking the sea. About 20 minute walk from shops. "
